The Softex® coupling is a torsionally flexible, puncture-proof threepart claw coupling. Due to the elastic gear ring it is in a position to damp impacts, torsional virbrations as well as noises. Furthermore the gear ring has a high resistance, elasticity as well as a good resistance to oils, fatty matters, a variety of solvents, ozone and influences of the weather. Due to this construction of the coupling (hub / elastic gear ring / hub) an angular resp. a radial misalignment of the shafts to be connected as well as thermal expansions will be compensated.
